Miranda Easten is a New Zealand singer, songwriter, poet, and author whose work is defined by honesty and heart. With a voice that draws listeners in and lyrics that cut to the core, she writes songs about love, loss, and the quiet strength it takes to keep moving forward.

Working with award-winning producer Greg Haver (Melanie C, Kimbra, Manic Street Preachers), Miranda has shaped a sound that balances raw emotion with refined storytelling.

Her debut album, Behind Unbroken Strings (2019), was recorded at Neil Finn’s Roundhead Studios, while her follow-up, Concrete & Honey, was created at the legendary Rockfield Studios in Wales — home to recordings by Coldplay, Oasis, and Queen. Both albums reveal her instinct for melody and narrative, and her refusal to be pigeonholed into one genre. Though celebrated in country music, Miranda moves freely between pop, folk, and country — creating something unmistakably her own.

A charting artist in New Zealand and abroad, Miranda’s music has gained widespread airplay and recognition. Her single View From Here topped the Taste of Country USA video countdown for several weeks, while Concrete & Honey debuted at #6 on the Official NZ Albums Chart.

Recently completing a national tour, Miranda has performed at major festivals and intimate venues across the country, and opened for Australian country star Brad Cox on his I Really Love NZ Tour. She also headlined the Ayrburn Classic, a highlight that brought together her love of music and classic cars.

Songwriting has always come naturally to Miranda — a way to translate emotion into melody. Over the years she has collaborated with some of New Zealand’s most respected artists, including Greg Johnson, Vanessa Kelly, and Delaney Davidson, deepening her craft and connection to the country’s creative landscape.

Beyond music, Miranda is a poet, journalist, and author. Her forthcoming memoir, Unravelling Me (2026), traces her story from heartbreaks in small-town New Zealand to international acclaim — written with the same candour and clarity that define her songs.

She also writes for Classic Driver and NZ Classic Car magazines, where her love of storytelling meets her passion for performance and classic vehicles.

Authentic in voice and vision, Miranda continues to create work that connects — proof that sincerity never goes out of style. Her next album is set for release in 2026.
